Gavin Pell FCA BSc PG Dip Law
Zürich After gaining a degree in Physics and a postgraduate diploma in law, Gavin qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in Jersey. He pursued his career with KPMG corporate finance before moving to a smaller corporate finance firm in order to gain experience in small business financing and private equity. He had good exposure to these as well as AIM IPO’s and finance raising. Prior to establishing Aurora Partners in Zürich, Gavin spent several years in senior executive positions within industry, most notably as the managing director of a global electronics business which he managed during its successful turnaround phase and subsequent sale. With Aurora Partners he has been instrumental in raising finance for several startup companies and businesses looking to expand as well as growing the corporate finance and private equity business. Since Aurora Parters was established, Gavin has been instrumental in expanding its range of services and professional partners.

Anjam Butt BSc MSc Dic
London Anjam has worked at a senior level in Investment Banking including equity derivatives, structured products and fund linked products for leading banks such as Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse, Dresdner Bank and Commerzbank. He has also worked extensively with hedge funds and established a proprietary fund of funds concept. Anjam has also acted in a principal capacity to private equity projects. He holds an MSc in Management Science and a BSc in Aeronatuical Engineering, both from Imperial College London.

Harry Groenert Diplom Betriebswirt (FH)
Zürich Harry has worked for over 30 years in the Financial Industry. His considerable expertise is drawn from the senior positions he has held within the Private Banking and Wealth and Asset Management markets. He has worked for several major firms including Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch and Princeton Economics. During his career, he has developed an expertise in hedge funds and the alternative investment markets and manages the due diligence, qualitative and quantitative selection of fund managers. He is an expert in fund management, and independent wealth management. Harry has created a large distribution network within Europe having raised several hundred million for various institutions and hedge funds. Harry speaks fluent English and German.

Rob-Roy Roedel MBA
Zürich Rob-Roy is the former Chief Investment Officer of Plenum Group which served large pension funds, family offices and individuals across Europe with a focus on equity strategies, structured products and hedge funds. He has many years experience in international financial markets working in Switzerland, Turkey and the United States. Prior to joining Aurora Partners, he managed a portfolio of hedge funds for a family office located in Zurich and various other senior positions for major US and Swiss banks. He holds a MBA from INSEAD and a bachelor degree in industrial management and German. Rob-Roy speaks fluent English, German and conversational Finnish.

Alun Griffiths ACA BEng
Jersey Alun trained as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and qualified in 1998. Since then he has specialised in accounting for complex offshore structures. He has worked in a number of different fields in offshore jurisdictions including banking, trust and company administration, compliance, audit and taxation, he has also worked on some of the worlds largest secured Bond offerings. Alun is also experienced in accounting and systems design, implementation and migration.

Angela Niemiec
New York Angela is a business developer with many years of proven success in the development, strategic planning, marketing & sale of businesses from startup to maturity. She proved her entrepreneurship, financial management and startup skills with Hudson Capital and forged strong international contacts and knowledge in Europe, South America, Canada, Panama and the Caribbean. She has developed a solid understanding of the US marketplace and has generated a large and very useful network of private investors.

John LeBoeuf
Thailand John has specialized in company start-ups and the turnaround and restructuring of established businesses primarily in the Medical and insurance markets. He has several years senior management experience with leading health insurance companies in the United States and Europe and has successfully applied this experience internationally to form niche managed care companies in key markets within Europe and Asia. John has over 20 years proven experience in facilitating companies expedite their business plans to exceed their expectations. More recently, John founded Prima-Dent International, a multinational company focused on the design and development of organized dental programs for insurance companies, large employers and financial institutions.

Mark Batt BSc
Prague Mark is a property professional with over 12 years experience of the Central European property markets. He was formerly the head of Cushman & Wakefield’s Residential business in the Czech Republic & Slovakia and was responsible for expanding the company’s business in these markets. His main focus has been on land sales and acquisitions, development consultancy, property portfolio and fund investments. He is an experienced business entrepreneur having co-founded and run a successful real estate business in the Czech Republic for over 10 years.

Roland Hopmans B Bus (banking and finance) CSMA
Zürich Roland has over 14 years experience in international management consulting, project leadership and change management. He works extensively throughout the Middle East advising, working and supporting major corporations in the GCC & KSA region. He works with senior management internationally across a wide range of industries including banking, FMCG, leisure, development, construction and transport as well as the cement, concrete & steel industries. He heads up our Management consulting business and can offer a unique insight into best business practice.

Nic Bennett AACostE FSAPCI
South Africa Nic has over 30 years experience in capital expansion projects primarily in Southern Africa but also in other parts of the world. He has established several businesses in Africa and Europe advising and leading project control services on multi million dollar projects in a wide range of industrial, building and infrastructural business sectors. He is a Cost Engineer and project control consultant and is able to assist with feasibility studies, planning and the development of large international projects.

Brent Gephart
Pittsburgh Brent holds a US real estate license and specializes in real estate purchase, development and financing in the Americas and Caribbean. He has built an investment portfolio in excess of four hundred and fifty million dollars within the Caribbean and has worked on several very large projects in Aruba and Belize working closely with those Governments. Brent is a trained architect and has a lot of experience in offshore structures in the Americas. Brent also has a strong background in the professional sports industry and has been very active in this area throughout the United States, Japan and Europe.
